The fourth season began in the second part of the royal conflict. On June 23, Activision Blizzard announced the end of support for the first Warzone, as the developers want to fully focus on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022) and Warzone 2. The release took place on Novemon PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The project became a direct continuation of Call of Duty: Black Ops. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter, the seventeenth game in the Call of Duty franchise and the fifth main title in the Black Ops story series.
